Catch Up

37 Weeks = Full Term!

Got my hair done to celebrate the occasion!

Noah is loving the water!

See?!

Baby Seth came to visit...practice makes perfect right?

I had a shower a couple weeks ago. My sis-in-law did the cupcakes and cake...aren't they adorable!?

With the hostesses. I look rather large in this pic, but I love these girls and posted it anyways!

Still feeling pretty good. I have my uncomfortable moments, but all and all I am not miserable. I went to the Dr. yesterday and she said I was dilated to a 2. Which really doesn't mean much of anything but that the end is nearing. Less then two weeks till the c-section. Aaron and most of my family don't think I am going to make it. I really don't know what to think, but am just thankful to still be pregnant. We will see! Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the sunshine!

Splash Day

Yesterday, was splash day at preschool. It was the perfect weather for such a day!
Here is Noah the evening before modeling his swimwear. Of course I had him try it on the night before to made sure it fit since I bought most of it that day. I am so last minute sometimes!

He loves him some sunglasses!

"At the car wash!.."

He pretty much loves anything that has to do with water, even though it may not look like it in this pic.

Down the slide...I am so doing this with his slide this summer...cheap entertainment!

Ugh, Thursday is our last day of preschool. I am actually kind of sad about it, but it just means that summer is here! And you know what summer means...

35 Weeks!

Me and Cohen "the basketball"
It feels good to be pregnant right now! I am sure glad to not have a 4 day old baby right now. Less than four weeks until the c-section! It is weird to think that I used to have a long list of things that needed to be done before he came and now the list is pretty much just a couple things! I had a shower this past weekend, and we were showered alright! Thanks to everyone who came, it meant a lot to all of us! Hopefully, I will be getting pictures soon from the shower. In the mean time keep praying for Cohen and for whats to come!

Countdown!

One month until delivery! For those of you who are curious, I had Noah at 34 weeks and 6 days. Today I am 34 weeks and 4 days. I can't imagine having a baby in two days. Keep those prayers coming, because there is still a lot to do before Cohen makes his arrival. What's not left to do, is Cohen's room. It is pretty much done. And I like how it turned out considering it is "second hand".
When you walk in the door...
When "re-doing" this room, I decided to give it a more prominent theme...jungle animals. Specifically, elephants. So I painted an elephant on two canvas...got the idea from a PB catalog and I'm sure I saved a cajillion dollars. "Cohen" is polka-dotted if you can't tell.

I painted some mirrors I had used in a previous living room...

Lots of picture frames to fill once he arrives...

Welp, that's pretty much it. I'm sure there will be more added later since I am having a shower this weekend. I'm off to bed...one month left of decent sleep!

Noah's New Room

Here are some highlights from Noah's big boy room! We finally hung everything up and love the outcome! The best part is Noah is sleeping in there and has been for almost two weeks! Success!
When you walk in the door, you see this...
Below is the chest of drawers Aaron's parents gave us. We painted it red and added some knobs that a friend/teacher gave me from preschool. Just add pictures to the frames...

I got this shelf at Canton along with the used baseballs. I made the picture frame (deco-podged baseball paper to a frame) and the Astros ball and baseball glove was Aaron's as a kid. The baseball card collection was donated by sister who, yes, collected baseball cards. Watch out! There are signed Juan Gonzalez and Rafael Palmeiro (sp?) cards in there! :) Will add to shelf with Noah's collectibles. Hopefully, one day, below this shelf will be a table and chairs set!

Bookcase is not finished but will hold books, collectibles and a bin of Noah's diapers...hopefully for not too much longer. :) We bought Noah the Rangers pennant at his first Rangers game and the other three are Aaron's. Including the Oklahoma Parking sign. Of course all his animals had to come over with the move. All. of. them.

Did I mention that the best part of this room is that he actually sleeps in it?!

The transition was as easy as we had hoped for and, so far, he has not fallen off!
Yay Noah!
