We are glad to be home, though! We missed Noah! He did great, of course, with my parents. He came to the airport with my parents to pick us up , and maybe the sweetest sound I have ever heard was hearing his little voice again! It will be awhile before we leave him that long again! Aaron and I talked about our favorite parts of the trip and we really couldn't decide on one thing...we loved it all! But, we did come to the conclusion that spending time with Kami and James was the best part of it all! We miss you guys...come back HOME soon!

"I'll be back"

So, you probably won't be hearing from me until a week from now. (Not like you hear from me that often) We will be traveling to Cooperstown, NY to see Kami and James tomorrow! We are so excited and maybe a little sad to leave Noah with my parents (thank you, thank you, thank you!!!)! Yes, this is our first trip longer than a night away from Noah!

As if Kami and James company won't be enough, we will also be going to NYC for a day or maybe two. On Friday, we have tickets, thanks to James' hook-up person, to the Yankees/Red Sox game on July 4th!
I'm excited to go, but obviously not as excited as Aaron! And if that wasn't enough baseball, of course, we will be touring the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown thanks to James (he works there). As I am writing this, I am sure Aaron has already mentally checked out of work and I am frantically cleaning and packing! Speaking of... better get back to it!

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday weekend!

Noah at 19 months and then some...

Welp, you guessed it Noah is already 19 months!!! He is changing so much, it kind of makes me sad to not have my snuggly little baby.

He is officially a walker...hardly ever crawls now! We thought this day would never come! We are so proud!

He says some new words like: guitar, poo-poo, boo-boo, french fry, and NO!

He knows what 'blow me up' means. For those oldies out there that means he will fist bump you. And if you still don't know what that means you are REALLY old...jk.

Speaking of poo- poo, he will tell you when he's going, which could be a sign that he will be an early potty trainer...eeks!!!

He no longer eats small torn up pieces of food. You can now give him a whole nugget and he will bite off of it.

He has started throwing mini tantrums. I say mini, because I have seen worse!

He is working on his colors, abc's and numbers. Doesn't really know any yet, but we are working on them!

He loves books! And he especially loves the one about the monkeys jumping on the bed. Whenever we get to the part about "Mama called the Dr. and the Dr. said..." He says No! and wags his finger.

Anyways, that is all I can think of now! We love you Noey and are loving every minute with you!!!

Wonderful Weekend

We had a great time in Austin this past weekend celebrating our friends Jen and Hayden. It was fun to catch up with friends from ACU and we had a blast staying with our friends Austin, Cassie and Caleb. Thanks for opening your home to us!

I am so sad I didn't get any pictures of Noah with his new friend, Caleb. Caleb is even more adorable in person and he has such wonderful parents! By the way, Cassie did my new layout for the blog- isn't she talented?!

We then spent Father's Day with my family! While the guys were inside watching the Open, the kids were outside playing in the water. That was their gift from us...haha :)

Madison and Noah....he is SO attached to her!

even little rylie enjoyed the water!

Thought I would post some pics as we are finally finishing up some rooms in the house. I have yet to find the perfect window treatment for the living room and I am still on the lookout for "odds and ends" for Noah's room. They are both "pretty much" finished.

Randoms!

I like to use a fork now!

What am I doing?
