Singing our ABC's at 22 Months!

This is what happens sometimes when you ask him something and he is just not in the mood!

This is what happens when he is in the silliest of moods!

This is what happens when he is somewhat in the mood to sing! Notice his favorite part of the song is "Now I know my ABC's".

I didn't mean to!

Really, I didn't mean to be gone THIS long! I know you missed me, blogging world! I guess my reason for being gone for so long is that the Ellis' are a busy bunch of people! Here is an update on all of us:

Noah: I am almost 22 months! I am a talker, alright! My vocabulary keeps getting bigger and I love to say phrases such as, "Hi Mama (or whoever)", "Hold me" and "Shoes off". I still love to sing and I can sing my ABC's and Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star! You can't understand most words but the tune is recognizable! I love to climb especially when mommy or daddy isn't looking. I am also starting to use a spoon independently! This was hard for mommy because she doesn't like messes!

Allison: I am really enjoying my class at preschool thus far. They are sweet kids and are good nappers as well! My friend, Courtney and I carpool to preschool and Ladies Bible Class on Wednesdays, so it is fun to see more of her and Savannah throughout the week! I am also staying busy with a Tuesday night Beth Moore study with a group of women from church. Love these ladies and the accountability we share.

Aaron: I tried to get him to write a little paragraph about himself but this is all he said: I am now 26 years old. I have gained 15 pounds since last summer. I like football season. I like mexican food. Umm....honey did you forget that you are 25 not 26 years old?!? Ha!

Please be in prayer for my in-laws who experienced Ike first hand. They live in Baytown and thankfully after deciding to stay home and "hunker down" they are okay. Their house is not as they lost a portion of the roof and have significant damage to the back portion of the house that is facing the bay. To read more on the David Ellis' go here.

Well, better go round up some western wear for Cowboy/Cowgirl Day at preschool tomorrow! Have a happy Wednesday!

Labor Day was spent at our neighborhood pool! Noah LOVES the water! He kept dunking his face in and even would kick his feet while holding him! The next Michael Phelps maybe???

Pure excitement!

He also, loves splashing...especially Daddy's face!

Refueling before going back out!

And, Tuesday was our 1st day of Preschool!!! Here are some shots of our little preschooler...
