18 Months!

Okay, so he is a little over 18 months, but I can't believe I have an 18 month-old! He's pretty much a toddler now and not a baby! Crazy! No, really. He is CRAZY!

Fun things about being 18 months!

-He says some new words- outside, rain, bread, cheeto, and some others. It is so fun to watch him catch on to words so easily now. In the past, he would hear a word several times before repeating it. Now, he will repeat after you saying it once or twice.

-He is really cruising along now. He still crawls some, but his balance is getting better and he is walking longer distances at a time.

-He can follow directions or a direction. Ex. "Noah, go give that paci to Rylie." He does it, and thinks it's a fun game!

-He loves to sing a long to music, especially in church!

-He is a GREAT sleeper. He is sleeping 11 hrs at night and will take, on average, a 3 hr. nap during the day.

-He has finally staring calling Aaron, "da-da" again. For awhile he was calling him ma-ma too (Aaron sure did love that) but, after several months of trying to clarify, he finally got it!

25 Years ago...

My husband was born into the world!

Here are some things that I admire about him:

-He is a very patient, caring, humble, passionate and hilarious husband! He is TOO good to me!

-He is AWESOME with Noah. He is very "hands-on" and loves to play "ball" with Noah, but also doesn't mind bathing him and changing awful-smelling diapers!

-He is a sports fanatic, which I love! He knows all kinds of trivia and is avid that we do some kind of sports activity everyday. (which is mostly, tossing the ball to each other in the living room) :)

-He is the planner. He loves thinking about the future and once a trip is planned, he will research everything about it until the day we leave!

-He is a follower of Christ and his love for Him shows through the way he cares for us as a family! He is a true leader!

Those were just a few things that I love about him. Have a well-deserved WONDERFUL Day! I love you, Honey!

So, I had fun time in Austin (or Lake Travis) this past weekend celebrating Jen and her upcoming wedding! It was nice to have a night with just the girls, since I am surrounded by boys all the time! I love girl time and am looking forward to Thursday with some more of my favorite friends, Bonnie, Courtney, and Jev!

We had a fun-filled weekend in Baytown! Noah did great on the plane (more so on the way there), which was awesome and we had fun soaking in the sun at the in-laws. Enjoy the pics and videos!

My Boys

I love my boys...aren't they cute?

This weekend we are going to Houston (Baytown) to see Aunt Kami, Uncle James, Mimi and Pawpaw...we can't wait! This will be Noah's first airplane ride....any tips??? I am planning on buying some new toys for the trip to keep him fully entertained for the hour we are in the air. Wish us luck! Have a wonderful weekend!
