Weekend Wrap-up

So, this weekend was a busy one! Friday night I got together with some girlfriends from high school since my good friend Crystal was in town from Germany! We had so much fun just catching up and reminiscing! Aaron kindly watched Noah so I could have some much needed girl-time since I live with 3 boys (that includes Chester)! Here is a picture that Kelley took from the evening!

Saturday was filled with just hanging out at home. Noah slept in that morning until almost 9:45! That was a nice surprise! Kelley came over to see Noah, so it was fun visiting more with her. Then, Saturday night, my parents watched Noah so me and Aaron could go out to eat and to a movie with Ben and Allison. We saw Definitely, Maybe which I absolutely loved! Anyways, Sunday was church and small groups which is always encouraging and we did some more of just being lazy at home!

Noah on his second Valentine's Day. (He wasn't being very photogenic for me today...I took, like, 15 pictures and this was the best I could come up with!! I guess he has reached that age where he can't stay still for the camera!)

Happy Valenine's Day to Everyone. Sorry about my lack of blogging! We are busy these days and are about to be busier with packing! Yuck!

Noah Update

Not much going on with Noah. Here are a few things:

-He did say Rylie (Ry-E) for the first time. It was so adorable and I am not sure how he picked up on it so quick because he usually calls her "baby".
-He also loves to lift up shirts and say bubby, which is a shortened word for belly-button.
-He is no longer drinking his milk from a bottle. He is doing great with whole milk and sippy cups.
-He has walked more with his push toy but there is still no signs of walking in the immediate future. (This drives Aaron nuts!)
-He now says Hi like "Hi-E". It is pretty funny.
-He enjoys new foods such as: cheese, mac n cheese, hot dogs, peach-mango-applesauce, and brisket.

Birthday and Homebuying

My niece recently (yesterday) celebrated her 8th birthday! It is hard to believe she is already 8. I still remember being called out of physics class (junior yr of hs) because my sister was having my first niece. I feel way too old to be celebrating her 8th birthday! Happy Birthday Madison Leigh! I love you! (She reads my blog...isn't that cute!?)

The Ellis' are quite busy these days. We are in the process of buying our first home! We are really excited and anxious all at the same time! This week it will be inspected and if everything checks out okay we will close at the end of the month (hopefully). Here is a picture of our soon-to-be home in Forney, TX!

Belated 14 Month Post

Noah was 14 months this past Monday! My big boy is growing too fast! Fun things about Noah at 14 months:

• Says lots of words including "turkey".
• Loves playing ball with Daddy.
• Loves giving high fives.
• Loves to drink real milk.
• Eats and eats and eats lots of chicken nuggets, cinnamon toast, oranges, chicken and rice casserole, etc.
• Loves reading books with Mommy.
