December is almost here....really?

Well, I haven't blogged in a while. Thought I would catch you up. If you didn't know already Noah is one! HA! Still can't believe it! He is getting so big and so much fun! He went to the doctor on Tuesday and is a healthy BIG boy weighing in at 22 1/2 lbs and over 30 inches long! He did all of his tricks for the doctor and was brave for his two shots! He has, though, been extra fussy because he is cutting to more teeth! Yuck! That is not fun! He is also still "cruising" along the couch and we probably won't see him take his first steps for almost another month. He put two words together the other day, "Hi dada". I was proud of him but have been working hard with him to say "Hi mama"! :) Anyways, enough about Noah! Here is a picture though.



I cannot believe it almost December! I have yet to start Christmas shopping or haven't got out any decorations! I haven't been in the mood for it lately I guess. I am however getting excited about our upcoming cruise with the fam! We are going the week before Christmas with Aaron's family (mil, dil, Kami, James, Jared and some other aunts, uncles and cousins) and my family (Mom, Dad, Madi, EmK, aunt Penni, uncle Randy and Hunter. We are going to Cayman, Jamaica, and Cozumel! I am excited not only for the vacation itself but to spend time with all of these people! Should be fun!

I am excited about the weekend! Nothing but hanging out and watching a little football. Go Sooners! Oh and Noah gets his first real haircut tomorrow! I am a little nervous but it needs to be done!!!

Rylie Paige Lindley was born at 2:19 am, weighing in at 5 lbs. 15 oz and 18 1/2 in. long! Mom and baby are doing great! I got to be in the room when she was born! So fun! She looks just like Emma Kate! Praise God for a healthy baby and delivery!

Noah's First Birthday Party!

Well, Noah's birthday party was a success! It was such a fun day and even though he didn't really know what was going on, I think he had fun too! Here are some pictures from the BIG day!

His actually birthday is Wednesday and we are traveling to Baytown for Thanksgiving that day. We are all excited about seeing Mimi and Papa, and having Thanksgiving dinner and another birthday party for Noah!

My Messy BIG Boy

Here are some recent pictures of Noah eating. He is eating more and more "table" food lately. It has been kind of hard to transition from baby food to table food since he only has two teeth, but he is becoming more open to many different foods lately. In these pictures he is enjoying some mandarin oranges.



Well, we are gearing up for Noah's first birthday party tomorrow! YES! I am really anxious to see how he is going to receive all of the attention as well as what he will do when we set his own cake in front of him. Don't worry, we are planning on taking plenty of pictures and video for this monumental event! Hopefully the day won't coincide with Rylie's arrival! That would make for an interesting day!

Is my baby really about to turn 1?

Time flies!!!!!! It really does! I cannot believe it has almost been a year since little Noah entered our lives! More on him when he turns one, but I just had to say that I do not feel old enough to have a one year old!

Anyways, this weekend was a lot of fun! Aaron's friend (and my friend too) Ben, came into town this weekend. It is always fun to hang out with him and is fun reminiscing about the good ol' days at church camp and ACU. We didn't hang out with him all weekend because of his new lady friend, but all and all we had fun enjoying his company as well as Allison's too. Yes, her name is Allison which automatically makes her a winner! Anyways, here is a picture of Noah and his Uncle Ben! (not the rice)

The rest of the weekend was filled with watching season 3 of the Office, Sunday church of which my bestest friend Jevanna was there :), Sunday small groups which is always a blessing, and a little shopping of course! Oh yeah, and lets not forget about all of the football watching...yay Sooners and Cowboys (Dallas that is). Anyways, still waiting on my niece, Rylie, oh and Happy belated Birthday to Emma Kate who was 4 on Saturday! (I called her on her birthday but I just wanted to say that publicly) Have a good week!

I never really gave a summary of our past weekend. Oh yeah, probably because I forgot to put my battery back in my camera before taking it with us to Oklahoma! I was bummed that I didn't have any pics from the OU/A&M game. Oh well, we had a great time just the two of us! I did come down with a cold on the way there but quickly forgot about it while pulling into Norman and walking around Campus Corner. The chilly weather in the 3rd and 4th quarter reminded of my cold and I was quite happy to be getting back into the car and heading to a warm bed. What a fun game to go to though! I also did not have my camera for Emma's 4th birthday party! bummer! She was so cute opening her presents and it was the best Curious George birthday party I have been too! So fun!

Anyways, Noah is still fighting his cold as well and that is why one of his eyes in the pictures above is a little red and puffy. We both hope to be well soon so we can hold our new little cousin/niece soon! (she hasn't been born yet but one of Lindsay's "false alarms" is sure to be the real thing soon!) Can't wait! Maybe my next blog will be of Rylie Paige Lindley!
